jr show clips

Yes, Thanks,,,,,Just got done watching them, all sick. Like there costume they had to wear on some of the holidays. [img]eek.gif[/img]

Hewwwwww boy, that band was sa-MOHHHHkin'!

Dare I say i think that's the best late-night TV show band I've EVAR heard...the only others that can come close are Eubanks & Co. on Leno...& Sanborn's with Omar [that Sun Night Live thing]...& the one with Will Kennedy [Wayne Brady?]...& THAT may be debatable. Having VC in the chair def didn't hurt, either. ;c)

That's why we love Vinnie. He's bascially on fire in these clips...no lazy-arsed, laid-back groove going on there. It's WAKE-UP / UP your arse. Time to get off that f'n sofa & get some espresso, you sleepy couch-taters! If you'd've dozed off right before this came on, it've made ya soil yer britches when it came blasting on.

And, Vinnie's drums on much of these, esp the toms, sound killin', basically just as i remembered it.

I'm feeling the excitement aagain that I felt when I saw the shows' intros way back then [after that, why bother with the rest of the show OR the musical acts?! [img]tongue.gif[/img] ]. J/K

Although I do have to say [re: that Thanksgiving Day clip, # 4], the gig better be paying some BIG BUKU bucks for you to want me to parade around clucking & flapping my arms in that big Turkey suit, [forever archived] on NATIONAL TV. Good thing Vinnie was in the back & Marky the bandleader took the eyeball-brunt of it...wonder if Mark had that clip on his resume?! ;cp

Clip 8 is cool where he rides on his left hand China going into his fill, but I think Clip 9 is the best, where he's doing that 12/8 Afro-Cuban-like thing on the snare/toms in unison. What a rush it must have been to see/play with him. You can tell the rest of the band is anxiously awaiting, "What's Vinnie going to do tonight"?
